Presidents of USA, John Roderick, Sera Cahoone get folky for Patty Murray

You know the best part about election season?

No, it isn’t the excessive amount of unavoidable and annoying political ads.

The best part of election season is all the get out the vote events involving local musicians that happen around election time.

One of those events will be happening Nov. 1, Election Day eve, at Neumos to support U.S. Senator Patty Murray. It is an all-ages show that will feature the Presidents of the USA, John Roderick, Sera Cahoone, The Young Evils, Tomo Nakumura of Grand Hallway, a solo set from Say Hi, Joshua Morrison, Eric Anderson of Cataldo and Alex Robert of Black Whales all performing covers of folk songs. The show is free and will be MC’d by Luke Burbank of  Too Beautiful to Live podcast fame.

All you have to do to attend this event is RSVP on Senator Murray’s website. Or, you can chance it and show up at the door and see what happens if you don’t want to be on the senator’s mailing list.
