DELI x Nudie Jeans party w/Golden Filter @ Moe Bar

The folks at local fashion boutique DELI are marking the arrival of Nudie Jeans to their shop Wednesday night with a party at Moe Bar featuring a DJ set by Golden Filter and Geurrilla Candy is happy to help DELI celebrate. The event begins at 9 p.m. and all you have to do to attend is send a RSVP to info@deliseattle.com and you’re on the list for what is sure to be a great party on Party Mountain filled with drink specials, a DJ, and jeans giveaways. That’s right, the DELI peeps are not only creating a pop-up installation inside their store for Nudie Jeans but they will also be giving away pairs of Nudie Jeans Wednesday.

Since fashion, and designer jeans for that matter, isn’t really something covered here on G Candy let me lift a bit from Nudie Jeans’ website to let you know why I decided Nudie Jeans and DELI seem like good fits for Guerrilla Candy readers. Here’s how Nudie describes their passion for denim.

We love jeans, a passion we share with everyone who mourns a pair of worn out jeans as a close friend. Jeans share the same soul and attitude as music. The inspiration springs from the same dreams. As a true jeans brand we are not looking for the short-term trends. The inspiration is far from glamour and catwalks. The collection is tight, like a rock band, reflecting the feeling of everyday life.

As you can tell not only are the Swedes who create Nudie Jeans quite the wordsmiths but they also take their denim very, very seriously. So send your RSVP and drop by Moe Bar Wednesday. Besides, what else are you going to do on a  humpday night on Capitol Hill?
