Reactions to Hot Bodies in Motion caught on film

A few weeks back Guerrilla Candy told you about Hot Bodies in Motion and suggested you hit up their CD release show at the Tractor. Prior to that show (which sold out btw) the band  took their record, Old Habits, to the streets and and filmed people’s reactions to the album.

You can check out the band’s man-on-the-street video in the clip above. It’s similar to what Cake did with the video for “Short Skirt, Long Jacket” except without the wacky reactions. My favorite reaction comes from the guy who says the band sounds “kind of like you started with Fleet Foxes and shitfaced into the Black Keys.”

If you missed Hot Bodies in Motion’s CD release show, the next chance you’ll get to see Fleet Foxes get shitfaced into the Black Keys will be Friday night at the High Dive during Guerrilla Candy’s Launch Party. Doors are at 9 p.m., the cover is $10 and Hot Bodies in Motion take the stage at 11:30. Also  scheduled to perform are My Goodness, Hobosexual and Hounds of the Wild Hunt.
