Say Hi recently released a new record titled Um, Uh Oh and to say it’s a bit of a departure from Eric Elbogen’s typical Say Hi fare is an understatement. The record definitely isn’t filled with the poppy, bedroom emo-ish far Say Hi is known for and I think this is a very good thing.
Don’t believe with me? Peep the video for “Devils” off Um, Uh Oh and then I think you’ll be in agreement that this darker, simpler direction is a good place for Elbogen to take his music.
