Mark Lanegan to play the Neptune in June

Mark Lanegan will be playing a rare solo show in Seattle at the newly restored Neptune Theatre on June 17.

The former Screaming Trees frontman and current Isolbell Campbell and Greg Dulli collaborator is expected to release a new solo album this fall. Last month the first single from that record, the eerily good “Burning Jacob’s Ladder,” was released online. You can give it a listen here.

Tickets for Lanegan’s Neptune show will cost $24 and Internet presale will begin tomorrow (March 31) at 10 a.m. and last until 10 p.m. You can purchase tickets during that time by clicking here and entering the promotional code stg when prompted.

The concert will be the first show at the Neptune since its closure last winter. Previously a concert by Okkervil River and Titus Andronicus was expected to be the first concert at the former movie house.

Opening for Lanegan will be Sean Wheeler and Zander Schloss.
