Listen: An interview with Deftones’ Abe Cunningham

Deftones are kicking off the latest leg of their U.S. tour behind the excellent record Diamond Eyes at the Paramount Theatre Thursday night. A few weeks back I chatted with Deftones drummer Abe Cunningham and we talked about the album, tour, the band’s career, his bandmate Chi Cheng and other topics.

Typically I either transcribe interviews like I did the last time I interviewed Abe Cunningham or use the good parts for stories like this one, but due to time constraints caused by the new day job (which is why things have been a bit slow around here the past few weeks in case you were wondering) I decided to post the full audio from the interview below.
