Weezer bringing Memories Tour to Seattle

Guerrilla Candy’s pal Harms over at 107.7 The End dropped the news on his blog yesterday that Weezer will be playing at WaMu Theatre August 19 and as part of the show the band will perform the Blue Album and Pinkerton in their entireties.

Tickets for the concert cost $43 without service charges and tax. They go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here. Weezer fans, or listeners of The End, who are signed up for the station’s End Mail will likely get a presale code Thursday.

The concert will be Weezer’s first Seattle show since headlining Bumbershoot last year, and since August is a few months away if you want to get your =W= fix before the show go ahead and listen to Guerrilla Candy’s archived interview with Rivers Cuomo.
