Pearl Jam announce Canadian tour for 2011

As hinted at earlier (and reported here) Pearl Jam will tour Canada this fall. The news of the Canadian tour comes the same day the band dropped info on its PJ 20 festival.

Here are the dates, all tickets go on sale May 27 at 10 a.m. local time:

7 – Sep         Montreal                Bell Centre
11-Sep          Toronto         Air Canada Centre
12-Sep          Toronto         Air Canada Centre
14-Sep          Ottawa          Scotiabank Place
15-Sep          Hamilton                Copps Coliseum
17-Sep          Winnipeg                MTS Centre
19-Sep          Saskatoon       Credit Union Centre
21-Sep          Calgary         Scotiabank Saddledome
23-Sep          Edmonton        Rexall Place
25-Sep          Vancouver       Pacific Coliseum

As written about plenty of times previously, 2011 is a big year for Pearl Jam. There’s been no word on a possible U.S. tour or any Seattle shows for the band, so if you’re a Seattle Pearl Jam fan and need to get your PJ fix but you can’t swing a trip to Wisconsin it looks like you should consider making a run for the border.
