Watch: Pearl Jam Twenty film trailer

Pearl Jam fans got their first look at Pearl Jam Twenty, the Cameron Crowe documentary about Pearl Jam’s 20-year career, today when the trailer for the film was debuted on PJ20.com.

The film will make its debut Sept. 10 at the Toronto International Film Festival and then begin its worldwide theatrical run Sept. 23. It will also be shown in select theaters for a one-night only screening on Sept. 20 and Seattle is listed as one of those markets with a big fat TBD next to the screening location and date.

As previously reported, the movie will be accompanied by a book and a soundtrack and both of those items can be preordered on the PJ20 website. The 384-page book will set you back $35 and the two-CD, 29-track record will cost you $20. A tracklisting for the record is not yet available but Cameron Crowe, who is curating the record, has said it will include more than just Pearl Jam. The book will be available Sept. 13 and the soundtrack Sept. 20.

Also as previously reported, the film will air on PBS Oct. 21. and get released on DVD and Blu Ray shortly after that on Oct. 25. And in case you haven’t had an opportunity to see the film in theaters or on PBS, Pearl Jam will also be making the movie available on Movies On Demand during its theatrical run.
