Guerrilla Candy’s third annual FunOfficial Bumbershoot Kickoff Party is happening at the High Dive Friday night and I couldn’t be more excited about the action that’s about to go down in Fremont. The show is going to be a night filled with some of the best local music in town celebrating Seattle’s biggest music and arts festival.

As you probably already know, the show will feature sets from Guerrilla Candy favorites The Physics, Hobosexual, Viper Creek Club and Smokey Brights. You can purchase advance tickets Friday’s show for $8 until Thursday by clicking here (they’re $10 at the door day of show).

On top of all the great music, like in previous years there will be a raffle for some cool prizes including Bumbershoot passes, goodies from Sub Pop Records and more. You read that right, not only will you get to see some great local music but you can win Bumbershoot passes by going to the FunOfficial Kickoff Party.

Raffle tickets will cost $5 and all proceeds will go toward One Reel’s Send a Kid to Bumbershoot program, which sends under-served youth to Bubershoot. So for the price of a beer you can help a kid experience firsthand the music and arts we all enjoy. How cool is that?

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that there’s going to be a secret guest host. I can’t say who he is prior to the show because that would ruin the whole secret part of the secret so show up Friday night to find out who it is.

Lastly, if you want to donate to the Send a Kid program but can’t make it to the show, you can do so here
