Two days of Bumbershoot are in the can and so far my favorite personal discovery has been New Orleans R&B jazz band Trombone Shorty. I’ll try to write more about Trombone Shorty when I have a bit more time (I’m rushing off to the Bumbershoot press room early this morning so I can do some writing before another day packed with music) but for now here is a clip of Trombone Shorty punching up Nirvana’s “In Bloom” a bit with some horns and a wickedly fun sax solo.
