Tonight: Kris Orlowski plays a gig for good at the Triple Door

Kris Orlowski is a mainstay of the local singer-songwriter scene and if you’ve been reading Guerrilla Candy you should be aware of his talents.

Tonight Kris and his band will be in action at the Triple Door supporting a good cause with a show benefiting the organization Climate Solutions, which is a non-profit organization working to come up with ways to fight global warming. Local do-good-group Team Up for Nonprofits, a group that promotes non-profits by through music and social media, recruited Orlowski and Californian Dawn Mitschele to play the show. The concert is is the tenth benefit Team Up has arranged as part of its Gigs4Good series.

While the show gives you an opportunity to enjoy some love music while supporting a good cause you may want to bring a little extra dough to contribute to Climate Solutions efforts because anyone who donates to Climate Solutions at the show will be entered into a drawing to win prizes from Fleet Foxes, including an autographed poster and vinyl record.

Tonight’s show begins at 7:30 and tickets cost $30.
