Brad gets new label, will reissue back catalog

Brad has signed a record deal with Razor & Tie Records and plans to release its latest album, titled United We Stand, on April 24. The deal also includes plans to reissue Brad’s entire back catalog —ShameInteriorsWelcome To Discovery Park, and Best Friends? and the compilation Satchel Vs. Brad — in multiple deluxe configurations later this year.The band’s last record, 2010’s Best Friends?, was released on Pearl Jam’s Monkeywrench Records label.

The core of Brad is guitarist Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam), singer Shawn Smith (Pigeonhed/Satchel) and drummer Regan Hagar (Satchel/Malfunkshun). Bassist Keith Lowe is somewhat new to the fold. He has served as touring bassist for the band and is longtime friends with the group. He replaces Mike Berg as the group’s full-time bass player.

The group will be going on a brief tour to support the record and it includes a show at Showbox at the Market on April 27. Tickets will cost $15 when they go on sale Friday.
