Lana Del Rey to perform in Seattle for free

Lana Del Rey, she of the ill-fated SNL performance from earlier this year, will perform a free in-store set at Easy Street Records in Queen Anne on Saturday.

Del Rey’s SNL appearance became a lightning rod for Internet criticism. The SNL stage can be a difficult, albeit important, stage to perform on. Del Rey was slammed for a variety of reasons ranging from having a wooden stage presence to poor-sounding vocals to having not earned her spot. The Easy Street appearance will be one of her first live sets since the SNL debacle and seeing her perform at an in-store will be a good way to measure her voice, stage presence and possibly put all of the Internet criticism to rest.

The performance starts at 2:00 and is open to the public. You can get the full details of her performance here.
