Noise for the Needy announced the lineup and benefactor for its annual series of benefit shows which are slated for June. The festival will include shows by The Duke Spirit, The Thermals and David J of Bauhaus and Love and Rockets as well as a Waylon Jennings tribute, Chromeo vs Daft Punk dance party and a celebration of Prince’s birthday where local musicians cover songs by his Royal Purpleness. Several Guerrilla Candy favorites are also scattered throughout the fest including The Redwood Plan, Hobosexual and Brothers of the Sonic Cloth.  This year the festival will benefit Seattle Community Law Center, a legal aid nonprofit that helps low-income people with disabilities receive social security benefits.
