Free Pickwick sets during Family Fourth festivities

Pickwick at Bumbershoot 2011

The Fourth of July is fast approaching which means One Reel’s Family Fourth at Lake Union is on its way too. The annul celebration of our nation’s independence features food, fun and fireworks and this year another f-word can be added to the festivities: free live music.

As previously reported, there will be a stage at the south end of Lake Union where Star Anna and the Laughing Dogs, Hey Marseilles, Campfire OK and the winner of the Opportunity Rocks contest will perform. There will also be a stage at the north end of Lake Union which will feature the red-hot blues rock of Ayron Jones and the Way, the funk of Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme and the blue-eyed soul of one of Seattle’s fastest-rising stars, Pickwick.  Actually, Pickwick will be pulling double duty as they will deliver two sets on the Fourth, one at 8 p.m. and another after the fireworks display.

Here are the set times for each stage:

North Lake Union stage

4 p.m. Ayron Jones and the Way

6 p.m. Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme

8 p.m. Pickwick

South Lake Union stage

3:30 p.m. Opportunity Rocks winner

5 p.m. Campfire OK

6:30 p.m. Star Anna and the Laughing Dogs

8 p.m. Hey Marseilles
