Video: Walking Papers at Capitol Hill Block Party

Walking Papers is a new band featuring Jefferson Angel (formerly of Post Stardom Depression and currently in The Missionary Position) on vocals and guitar, Barrett Martin on drums (formerly of Screaming Trees and Mad Season) and, on record, bassist Duff McKagan (formerly of Guns N Roses and currently in Loaded).

The band performed its third ever set, and its first with McKagan in the lineup, at the tiny Sole Repair at Capitol Hill Block Party on Sunday. The group’s sound smacks of Loaded and The Missionary Position’s hard rock. Look for the album Oct. 2 on Barret Martin’s own label Sunyata Records and catch the band at The Crocodile Aug. 17 when they perform on a bill that includes Sweetwater.
