Watch the trailer for Duff McKagan’s Loaded ‘The Taking’ feature film

Duff McKagan has been a pretty busy guy lately. He was the Grand Marshal of the Seafair parade last weekend, he dropped by Capitol Hill Block Party to play a set with his friends in Walking Papers the week prior and a few days before that he popped up on stage at Showbox SoDo to perform with his old pal Slash. Oh, and he is also in a band that will rock your face off called Loaded.

Well, now McKagan can add actor to his resume alongside musician, father, author, columnist and parade grand marshal because today Duff and his band Loaded revealed the trailer for the feature-length film The Taking and it looks to be quite an interesting and fun movie. It’s definitely something any fan of local rock music will want to see simply based off the cast which includes: Kim Warnick, John Roderick, Jerry Cantrell, Chris Ballew, Sean Kinney, Kurt Bloch, Gilby Clark, Lemmy and Mary Kay Letourneau (?!?!).

The Taking will be released this fall in episodic form. I’ll have more information about the film as it gets closer to its release date. For now here’s a brief description of The Taking from the trailer’s YouTube page:

A total of 10 vignettes/music videos will tell a tale of totally bizarre adventures, imprisoned band members, and kids’ size ice cream cones.
