Soundgarden to release new album Nov. 13

We all know back in 2010 the members of Soundgarden made amends and got back together for a limited run of club and festival shows and a few other one-off concerts. Reportedly, the reunion went so well that the band jumped back in the studio and recorded some new material together. The first fruits of those recording sessions resulted in “Live to Rise” off The Avengers soundtrack (a song that was briefly posted on Guerrilla Candy but then was quickly yanked after I received a cease and desist letter).

Well it looks like there will be more new material from the band where that came from because according to Rolling Stone, Soundgarden will release its highly anticipated comeback album on Nov. 13. The untitled record will be the band’s sixth studio record.
