Win tickets to see Silversun Pickups at Marymoor Park

Silversun Pickups released their third studio record, Neck of the Woods, earlier this year. The album received mixed critical response with some critics dissing the album for one of the worst reasons ever to diss an album– because it didn’t sound enough like the band’s previous albums. That reason is exactly why like the record, because it keeps the same SSPU sensibilities while mixing things up just enough to make it stand out from the rest of the band’s catalog.

The group is currently touring behind Neck of the Woods and they are coming to town to play at Marymoor Park Sept. 6 and I have one pair of tickets to give away to a lucky reader. All you have to do to win is either drop a comment below or leave a comment here. Or, you can leave a comment in both places and be entered to win twice! A winner will be chosen at random and notified on Sept. 4. Good luck.

Silversun Pickups perform at Marymoor Park Sept. 6 with openers Atlas Genius Tickets cost $35 and can be purchased here.

  1. And another critic would have criticized them for sounding exactly the same as their last album. You can’t please all of the people all of the time. Ultimately, you have to be true to yourself.
