Listen to new Soundgarden: “Non-State Actor”

Soundgarden will release their long-awaited comeback record, King Animal, in less that two weeks. The band has already released the album’s opening track “Been Away Too Long” and today the band let loose “Non-State Actor,” the record’s second track.

Listen: New Soundgarden “Been Away Too Long”

I’ve been spending the past day with a review copy of King Animal and while “Non-State Actor” isn’t my favorite cut off the record (right now that honor goes to “Eyelid’s Mouth”) it is a good representation of what fans can expect off the album when it hits stores Nov. 13.

I’m still forming an opinion on King Animal but I will say after four or five listens that it’s a record that’s much closer to Down on  the Upside than Badmotorfinger, which in my opinion is a very good thing. Enjoy “Non-State Actor” above and look for a review of King Animal to land here on Guerrilla Candy soon.
