Watch the first (and only) full Temple of the Dog concert

Twenty-two years ago today members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden joined forces on stage to perform the first, and last, full Temple of the Dog concert. The band was billed as “guests” on a bill that also included Bathtub Gin and Inspector Luv at the Off Ramp (which is now El Corazon). The good folks over at Pearl Jam fansite extraordinaire Two Feet Thick have a terrific rundown and commentary on what went down Nov. 13, 1990. It’s a great read and you should definitely head over there to check it out. As part of the TFT post on the Temple of the Dog debut they posted video of the full concert for all to enjoy and I’ve dutifully dropped the clips below to share.

  1. I was there and it was freaking fantastic! They also played a pretty lengthy, if not full, set opening for PJ at RCKNDY – one of the best shows of that era.
