Listen to a tease of Paul McCartney with Nirvana ‘Cut Me Some Slack’

As reported earlier today, Paul McCartney performed with the surviving members of Nirvana during the 12-12-12- Hurricane Sandy benefit tonight and the result was unlike what you’d expect. Instead of playing a Nirvana song or covering a Beatles classic, they played their own original material.

The song is a part of the soundtrack to Grohl’s upcoming documentary Sound City (watch the trailer below, it looks like a killer rock doc) and it was teased online immediately following the 12-12-12 show with an 18-second trailer. The song is called “Cut Me Some Slack” and you can check out the teaser above and look for more news on Sound City and the song “Cut Me Some Slack” as it becomes available.
