Rolling Stone conducted a reader poll for the most anticipated albums of 2013 and Pearl Jam landed at No. 2 right behind U2 and in front of David Cook. Check it out here.
While nobody outside of the members of Pearl Jam can say when the band’s new record will be released, the folks at Rolling Stone are a reputable and possibly knowledgeable source and they end their brief write-up on the new Pearl Jam record with the following statement:
A new album much later in the year seems like a strong possibility, but don’t be shocked if it winds up being 2014.
2014? Yikes!
Maybe that tour the band is gearing up for won’t be happening soon after all.
