A little while back I reported that power trio RNDM, which is Jeff Ament’s band with his friends Joseph Arthur and Richard Stuverud, are working on a follow-up to their underrated debut album Acts. Now it looks like RNDM is ready to present some of that new material to the public.

Earlier today it was announced that the band will perform at the Tractor Tavern May 5. The show will mark the young band’s second Seattle appearance and could be a sign that the group’s sophomore record will be out sooner rather than later considering Ament’s other band, Pearl Jam, isn’t touring at the moment and has yet to announce plans for the release of its highly anticipated 10th studio album.

Tickets for RNDM’s show at the Tractor cost $20 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. You can purchase tickets here.
