A few weeks back I was lucky enough to premiere the trailer for “The Glamour and the Squalor,” an upcoming documentary chronicling the life of my friend, and local/national radio legend, Marco Collins.

Since the premiere of the trailer back in April the filmmakers successfully launched a Kickstarter and raised more than $50,000 to fund post-production of the movie and it was recently revealed that Mike McCready will score the movie. McCready is no stranger to writing scores. He has previously scored an episode of “Fringe,” the film “Fat Kid Rules the World” and has worked on other scores as well.

In other Mike McCready news, the Seattle Mariners are hosting another Mike McCready bobblhead promotion. If you buy tickets to the June 28th game using this link you will receive a Mike McCready bobblehead doll and part of the proceeds from your ticket will go toward the Chron’s & Colitis Foundation of America. McCready will also play the national anthem at the game that night.
