As reported at the beginning of the year, Nirvana’s In Utero will be reissued to celebrate the record’s 20th anniversary. Today it was announced via Nirvana’s official YouTube channel that the deluxe reissue of the album will appear in September.
Unfortunately that’s all that was announced. No street date or specifics of the reissue were revealed. Since it is a deluxe reissue it’s a safe bet there will be plenty of rarities and goodies that will come along with the album.
The announcement did however come in the form of a vintage funny-ish promotional video featuring Bobcat Goldthwait and Nirvana, during which Kurt Cobain gives birth to multiple babies. Since there are no concrete details of the reissue being made available we’ll just have to watch the rare promo clip above until more information is known.
