As expected, (and first reported here by yours truly thankyouverymuch) Paul McCartney made an historic night for Seattle a legendary one when he brought Krist Novoselic, Pat Smear and Dave Grohl on stage to perform with him at Safeco Field during the first ever public concert held at the stadium.

The former members of Nirvana joined Sir Paul for “Cut Me Some Slack,” “Get Back,” “Long Tall Sally,” “Helter Skelter”  and “The End.” I likely won’t write up a review of the show but I will say being there and witnessing Sirvana was easily one of the most memorable concert experiences of my life. Instead of writing down some words to relay the amazing moment in music history that was Sirvana at the Safe, I’m going to post a few videos of the performance. I threw in a clip of “Live and Let Die” because, well, it’s badass that’s why.
