OutKast, Soundgarden headline Sasquatch!’s 2014 dual-weekend fests

OutKast-bestival-1.28.2014

The lineups of the 2014 Sasquatch! Music Festivals were announced last night. And no, you didn’t read that wrong, there are multiple Sasquatch!s this year. The festival is expanding to two weekends, roughly one month apart, for the first time. The strategy allows Live Nation and Adam Zacks to more or less book every band under the sun that’s playing the festival circuit to play the Gorge and creates two stellar music festivals that cover summertime holiday weekends (Memorial Day and Fourth of July weekends to be exact).  OutKast, Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden and Kraftwerk are a few of the big names on the bills. Tickets for each three-day weekend festival cost $325 per weekend.

Here are the lineups for both weekends via the Seattle Times. As always, Sasquatch is loaded with plenty of local talent. The acts in bold are artists that I know have Seattle area ties.
