Jason Tang named interim editor and publisher of Guerrilla Candy

I’m happy to announce that Jason Tang has been named interim editor and publisher of Guerrilla Candy.

Regular Guerrilla Candy readers know Jason from his award-winning photos. He’s been a contributor to this site since its inception and his images are often some of the most visually stunning concert photos you’ll ever see. While Jason’s great eye is well-known in the local music scene, what might not be as well-known are his great ears. He’s turned me on to dozens of local bands, many of which are often prominently featured on Guerrilla Candy, and his talents make him the perfect choice to take the editing and publishing reins.

So, why the change?

Well, after spending the past 10 years sharing my passion for local music through my self-published labors of love Guerrilla Candy and Ear Candy, the time has come for me to begin a new chapter of my life and move onto something bigger. That something bigger is parenthood.

Effective today I’m stepping away from Guerrilla Candy for a while to spend time with my family and get to know the newest addition to the Guerrilla Candy army.  Until I come back you’re in good hands with Jason.
