PHOTOS: Greg Laswell at The Triple Door

It’s no secret that our town holds a special place in Greg Laswell‘s heart.  After going through a tough divorce eight years ago, he decided to visit Seattle on a whim after recommendations from friends and fell in love.  Two of his songs (“What A Day” & “High and Low”) now mention the Emerald City by name.

On Monday night, Greg, accompanied by cellist Colette Alexander, returned to play a show at The Triple Door in support of his brand new album I Was Going To Be an Astronaut.  During his nearly 2 hour set, he played many of the tracks off the record which contains remakes of some of his and his fans’ favorite songs throughout his career.
