Watch: Welcome to Doe Bay film trailer

The trailer for the documentary Welcome t o Doe Bay hit the web recently. It can be viewed over at IMDB.

The film examines the community around what the filmmakers call the “best music festival you’ve never heard of,” which is of course the annual Doe Bay Music Festival. The movie’s IMDB page lists a litany of local music names anyone who follows Seattle’s music scene should be familiar with including Damien Jurado, Kevin Sur, Hannah Levine, Abbey Simmons, Faustine Hudosn, Jason Dodson and many others. The trailer features Champagne Champagne, Pickwick’s Galen Disston, Hudson, Simmons and many more recognizable locals.

A release date for Welcome to Doe Bay has yet to be announced but you can relive Doe Bay 2011, or get a sense for what Doe Bay is all about in case you aren’t familiar with the event, by reading Suzi Pratt’s excellent recap of last year’s festival.
