The annual Sasquatch! Music Festival will become a four-day festival this year.
Held at the Gorge Amphitheatre, the festival happens during Memorial Day weekend and kicks off the summer concert season. This year it will take place May 27-30. It will be the first time the festival will be a four-day event.
Live Nation, which co-produces the event along with Sasquatch! founder Adam Zacks’ production company House of Zacks, announced the Foo Fighters will headline the first day of the festival. The full lineup will be announced on Feb. 7. According to Consequence of Sound, a website that tracks music festival lineups, the bands Foster the People and Twin Shadow are heavily rumored to be playing the festival.
Tickets go on sale Saturday (Nov. 20) when special four-day all-in tickets are made available. The tickets will include all service fees and camping costs. According to Live Nation’s events page, four-day passes will cost between $285 and $295 during the presale.
If you think November seems like an odd time to be thinking about summer music festivals you’re wrong. Last year Live Nation announced Pavement as a headlining act in November and offered presale ticket packages. The move helped the festival sell out months in advance.
