As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
Unfortunately that’s the case for Mash Hall. Gatsby and Bruce Illest definitely had a good thing going for them, but Friday will be the final Mash Hall concert. The group uses their retro New Jack and G-funk grooves to put on some of the most energetic and fun hip-hop shows in town, which means their finale should be a show to remember.
You can watch Mash Hall die young and leave a pretty corpse at Columbia City Theater Friday for free. All you have to do is send an email with the subject “Smokin dat Whitney” with your name in the body. A winner will be drawn at random and notified around noon Friday. Good luck.
