The Soundgarden guys weren’t the only Seattle music icons who helped raise money for a good cause over the weekend. Jeff Ament joined Metallica in California during the band’s annual All Within My Hands benefit concert.
Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation supports workforce education, hunger relief, disaster relief and other agencies that support sustainable communities. Ament’s Montana Pool Service, which helps create skateparks in rural and Native American communities throughout the western United States, received a donation from All Within My Hands at the concert.
Ament joined the band for the “Kille ‘Em All” classic “Hit the Lights.” Watch the performance below.
