Soundgarden to be inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame

It finally happened. Soundgarden will be enshrined into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame.

The group, which disbanded in 2017 after the unexpected death of Chris Cornell, has been eligible for the Hall of Fame for more than 10 years. They were nominated twice before but did not earn enough votes from the Rock Hall committee to be inducted.

Members of the group have briefly reuninted and performed together over the past eight years. They reunited once during a tribute concert for Chris Cornell, once to record a 12″ LP with Brandi Carlile and most recently they reunited as Nudedragons to perform for charity.
