Friends of Guerrilla Candy, Musicology Co, recently hosted an intimate, acoustic performance by Smokey Brights. The band was September’s Musicology Music Club artist of the month and the set was one of the group’s first performances since the release of their latest LP “Dashboard Heat.”
During their 25-minute set the band’s two principal players (Kim West and Ryan Devlin) performed five “Dashboard Heat” songs. The stripped-down arrangements combined with the initimate setting made for a perfect way to experience the tunes in a new light. Check out “Running From The Moon” from the acoustic set below.
