This year’s musical slate was filled with plenty of goodies for me. Some of my favorite artists released new albums (Craig Finn, My Morning Jacket), while some of my other favorite artists returned from lengthy hiatuses (The Hives, Deftones).
Along with those releases from favorites, I started to feel like a local music blogger again with a lot of my year-end favorite albums coming from PNW artrists (Suzzallo, Kassa Overall and plenty of others). In fact, 50 percent of my top 20 albums of the year were from artists with ties to the Pacific Northwest.
