Mudoney’s Mark Arm to star in Teatro ZinZanni’s adult cabaret

Mark Arm of Mudhoney is teaming up with Teatro ZinZanni to be a part of a series of late night varieté shows beginning Oct. 30.

Arm will perform original material as part of Mezzo Lunatico, which is a monthly series of 21+ shows with adult themes and nudity. This month’s performance, which is the only show that Arm will appear in, explores the theme of fear. Here’s a description of the show from Mezzo Lunatico’s website:

… Mezzo Lunatico is a series of themed cabaret shows to be held one Saturday night a month and to be hosted and curated by long-time Teatro ZinZanni performers.

The first production of Mezzo Lunatico (which translates as “half crazy”) is curated by El Vez and features Mudhoney singer Mark Arm, burlesque performer Catherine D’Lish , performance artists Scotty the Blue BunnyManuela Horn and Luminous PariahWildcard Acrobats — all exploring the theme of Fear. In addition to live music by Los Lunatiques, the evening also features over an hour and half of dance tunes selected by DJ Chrispo.

Tickets for Mezzo Lunatico cost $20 and can be purchased by calling (206) 802-0015 or at the Teatro ZinZanni box office. There is a two drink minimum for the show so be sure to bring some extra cash so you can get your drink on and remember to tip your bartender.

Two other Mezzo Lunatico shows are scheduled including “Thankful” on Nov. 20 which explores the theme of thanks and  “X in Xmas”  on Dec. 18 which deals with a theme of, well, putting the X back in Xmas.
