Broken Social Scene to play the Paramount Theatre Friday

The last time Broken Social Scene stepped foot on stage in the Evergreen State the Canadian supergroup was making all sorts of loud noise on the main stage at Sasquatch! It was a set of loud, fuzzy and at times pretty frenzied rock music.

The band is still on the road supporting its latest album, Forgiveness Rock Record, and their current tour brings them back to the Pacific Northwest this week. When the nine-piece collective fronted by Kevin Drew comes around town Friday  they will be playing Seattle proper on the stage of the Paramount Theatre and you’re in luck if you’d like to attend the noisy, artsy, Canadiany concert.

Guerrilla Candy has two pairs of tickets to give away to the concert. To enter to win all you have to do is send us an email with the subject of “BSS” and your name in body before noon on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010. Winners will be randomly chosen and notified before 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 14. In case you don’t want to chance the possibility of winning tickets you can purchase tickets for $22 advance or $25 day of show. Good luck.
