Tonight: Get your emo on with Dashboard Confessional @ Neumos

Doesn't Chris Carrabba looks so sensitive holding that guitar?

Dashboard Confessional, Chris Conley of Saves The Day, Lady Danville // Neumos // 7 p.m. // $25

Has it really been 10 years since Dashboard Confessional released The Swiss Army Romance? Dashboard takes me back to a time when being an “emo kid” wasn’t the mark of shame it is now and when MTV still played music. Honestly, how could one forget Chris Carrabba’s big, brown, pleading eyes begging for the good ol’ days to return in the video for “Screaming Infidelities”. Tonight at Neumos get ready to get your nostalgia on because Mr. Carrabba will be playing the band’s first album in it’s entirety as part of The Swiss Army Romance 10 Year Anniversary Tour. A must-see for any and all emo kids (current or former or closeted). Opening for Dashboard Confessional is Chris Conley of Saves The Day and Lady Danville.
