Dave Matthews Band coming to the Gorge?

In news that should shock absolutely no one, the Dave Matthews Band is rumored to be playing the Gorge this Labor Day Weekend.

The band is on a bit of a hiatus for 2011 and isn’t touring much at all this year, which is why it’s newsworthy that DMB will once again play the Gorge during Memorial Day weekend for the umpteenth time. The dates have yet to be confirmed by the band, but Wildhorse Campground is selling  reservations for campsites Sept.1-5 with those dates marked for Dave Matthews Band on its website.

DMB’s shows at the Gorge are epic experiences for Dave Matthews Band fans. The music is always good, the fans lively and the band really rises to the occasion when performing at what Matthews has called “Heaven’s amphitheatre.” Seriously, they put on great shows at the Gorge.

Aside from the reported Gorge shows, also in the works for Dave Matthews and his merry band of musicians are a series of one-off mini-festivals at locations TBD to celebrate twenty years as a band (sound familiar?). If they were to have one in Indio it could possibly look like this …
