Tonight: Kate Voegele & Natasha Bedingfield

Kate Voegele

Sometimes seeing pop stars perform their music live in an up close and personal setting can be a risky move. There’s the chance you’ll get a pop singer who lip syncs, or does the more forgivable move of singing over backing vocals (ahem, Robyn at Sasquatch!). Or worse yet, other times the singer might forget the words, a la XTina at the Super Bowl.

But regardless of their performance, or coolness under pressure on stage, there’s a reason pop stars land recording contracts and go on tour. It’s because most pop stars possess some form of undeniable talent and that talent may, or may not, be apparent in a live setting.

Tonight  you have the chance to judge for yourself whether there’s talent behind two pop stars during a show in an intimate setting with the double bill of Kate Voegele and Natasha Bedingfield at Showbox at the Market

Voegele, who is also known for her role as Mia Catalano on On Tree Hill, is touring behind her recently released record Gravity Happens. She landed the opening slot for Befingfield, who is already a known commodity both here in the U.S. and abroad. So not only will you get the opportunity to see pop star talent in the raw, you’ll also get to see a pop starlet in training earn her stripes.  That, combined with Bedingfield’s international pop appeal make tonight’s $25 ticket well worth the price of admission.
