Watch: Allen Stone on Letterman

Allen Stone performed “Sleep” on Late Night With David Letterman last night. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe  the performance was his network television debut (not cable debut, remember that time he performed on Conan) and I just couldn’t wait for CBS to make an embed code of the performance available, so I filmed it with my phone for you to enjoy.

And if you’re reading this copyright police at CBS, don’t worry, I’ll remove this video and replace it with the higher quality video that will be made available on the Late Show’s website whenever it is posted.

  1. Allen’s awesome. Seen him twice now-amazing.

Also the backup singer on the right (facing the stage) is the backup singer (and lead on some tunes) on the new Warren Haynes Band live DVD. Her name is Alecia Chakour and she is badass! She deserves to be in front of her own band.
