2013 Sasquatch! lineup to be announced Feb. 4

It’s the middle of winter, which means it’s time to start thinking about summer music festivals. And while all of the Seattle area’s major festivals have offered limited pre-sales for their 2013 editions, none have dropped even the slightest hints at their lineups.

That will change very soon.

I’ve confirmed with multiple sources that the lineup for  the 2013 Sasquatch! Music Festival will be announced during the fourth annual Sasquatch! Launch Party at the Neptune Theatre on Feb. 4.  As speculated by my colleague Chris Burlingame, the event will be headlined by Cody ChestnuTT. An official announcement of the launch party is expected to come from Live Nation later today.

When and where tickets for the launch party will be made available, along with the rest of the launch party’s lineup, will be posted here when that information is made available.

Sasquatch! lineup details are still under lock and key but it’s known that four-day festival passes for Sasquatch!, which takes place May 24-27, will cost $300 and go on sale Feb. 9.  So start saving your pennies for a Memorial Day weekend at the Gorge.

UPDATE: Built to Spill and a “special guest performer” will also perform at the launch party. Tickets for the event are free and will be made available while supplies last at the Neptune’s box office beginning at noon on Feb. 2. Tickets can also be won by listening to 107.7 The End this weekend.
