When Pearl Jam announced their upcoming tour, the band also released a teaser video that accompanied the announcement. The video is a montage of scenes of the band in concert and the soundtrack includes some rather curious music. Watch the brief 90-second clip above to hear the music.
It’s a pretty safe guess that some, if not all, of the soundtrack is new music from Pearl Jam. There’s a ripping guitar riff and drums that kick in at roughly the 1:05 mark that sound as fierce as any of the band’s harder-rocking material. If this is what the new record sounds like then fans of “Brain of J,” “Spin the Black Circle,” “Supersonic” and “Porch” will be very happy.
To make things even more fun and interesting, Pearl Jam has started another countdown on its website. The first countdown started last week and ended today with the tour news. The countdown that began today will end on Thursday. Maybe that’s when we’ll find out where the video’s soundtrack comes from.
