Tae Phoenix started her music career looking for people who had been where she wanted to be. This search brought her to some of Seattle’s most exciting artists and laid the foundation upon which she built Outside the Lines.
With a mix of R&B, soul, and just a touch of rock ‘n’ roll, Outside the Lines blends these influences with her own style. This becomes abundantly clear on the title track, where she is joined by Julia Massey and Whitney Mongé (who also performed sets earlier in the evening). Tae lead the women without consuming them, each bringing something of themselves to the mix for Tae to share with the audience.
Without a doubt, Tae Phoenix will be the one that future artists look to when starting their music careers.
