Macklemore adds Seattle date to ‘Ben’ tour

Today in news from the It Was Bound To Happen Department, Macklemore announced a December 21 date at Climate Pledge Arena for his “Ben” tour.

The artist pre-sale starts Wednesday, June 7 at 9 a.m.  and the Hometown Team pre-sale starts the same day at 11 a.m. Both presales end Thursday, June 8 at 10 p.m. before they go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 9 at 10 a.m

The concert will be his first Seattle show since performing a secret chow at Neumos to celebrate the release of his latest album “Ben.” While Macklemore’s career has elevated him to festival-headliner statue, he was suspicously absent from every local festival bill. This makes his Seattle concert the first time a majority of his hometown fans will get to hear him perform music off the new album.
