Eddie Vedder has announced two benefit concerts at Benaroya Hall that will take place later this fall.

The concerts, which will happen Oct. 23 and Oct. 24, will benefit the EB Reasearch Partnership, an organization founded by Vedder and his wife in 2010. EBRP assists with research for finding treatment and a cure for the disease epidermolysis bullosa. The disease, which is incurable, effects the skin and causes painful blisters and sores. It is most commonly seen in young children and is caused by a genetic defect where proteins that bind skin together are missing in carriers.

The concerts will be Vedder’s first public shows in Seattle since his two headling concerts at Benaroya Hall with his band The Earthlings in February of last year. All proceeds from both concerts will go to EBRP.

Tickets for the beneift concerts go on sale Aug. 25 through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program and range in price between $160 and $264 after taxes and fees.
