Watch Matt Cameron’s Wipers tribute band Is This Real?

Matt Cameron is a man of many talents and he never seems to stay idle. He’s more or less been a mainstay in the Seattle scene since the early 80s during his days with Bam Bam and hasn’t stopped jumping around sitting in with various artists ever since.

His latest endeavor is the band Is This Real? It’s a group that pays tribute to seminal Portland punks The Wipers. Last week Cameron and his group opened for Walking Papers at the Crocodile and he shared a clip of the set on Instagram.

Of course Is This Real? isn’t Cameron’s only tribute project this year. Last month he released the EP Gory Scorch Cretins with The Melvins as his backing band. The record is an homage to The Melvins album Gluey Porch Treatment.

Watch Is This Real? play “Return of the Rat” below.
